iLoveKickboxing, Boca Raton’s newest cardio kickboxing studio, held their Grand Opening Celebration on Monday June 27, 2016. In attendance were more than 150 people including Mayor Susan Haynie, Councilman Jeremy Rodgers, and members of The Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce. The studio also had a long list of local sponsors who each brought some of their specialties to share. Raw Juice had a table providing samples of their most popular and healthy juice drinks, Elements Massage was offering massages, Oceans 234 brought some of their specialty health food options, Lemongrass Asian Bistro of Boca Raton provided a huge sushi spread, The Vitamin Shoppe was offering samples of a popular protein drink, Chef Dana with La Paella Chef was making fresh Paella on site, Fit Food Fresh had samples of some of their food options, and of course no celebration would be complete without a cake, which was made by Sweet Therapy, including an amazing representation of the studio’s mat and punching bags!
The ceremony kicked off with introductions by the studio’s owner, Victoria Heck, followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony and live demonstration by our studio’s amazing instructors. Then, the guests received a special look at some of the instructors favorite kickboxing moves during a Live demonstration. Attendees were in awe and even had the opportunity to take off their shoes (because shoes are not allowed on the special mat), put on real kickboxing gloves, and try out some punches and kicks as they were instructed by the studio’s staff. Mayor Susan Haynie, and Councilman Jeremy Rodgers, also got a chance to put on a pair of punching gloves and punch that bag.
The rest of the night consisted of everyone enjoying the delicious food as well as meeting new friends and making new connections. Members of the studio, who were also in attendance, were able to share some of their success stories! The studio has only been open for a little over a month, and members are already so excited about their progress and weight loss results.
