Fitbella, is it the right "fit" for you?

I am a 46 year old woman who has always been an avid exercise enthusiast. My motto – no pain, no gain. I felt the harder I pushed myself the better for my health and body. A great workout left me shaky, weak, and sore the next day. Little did I know the damage and wear this could cause to my body and it did, led to 2 herniated disks in my neck. I could no longer workout, cross fit, weight lift, or do spin class anymore. I tried Yoga and Pilates but found my neck aggravated and painful. I was feeling helpless and fearful. I had tried all forms of exercise I knew of and all left me in pain, not the good pain I had once sought but pain from an aggravated neck injury. One day, I was sitting in my doctor’s office waiting to be seen and I read an article about Fitbella, I was intrigued and determined to find out more.
I joined Fitbella in April and I absolutely love it. It’s a great workout for me because I am challenged, all exercises are non-impact and there is no strain on my neck or other joints. Muscle groups are isolated and targeted. My Fit Coach customized a workout for me targeting problem areas I identified and taking into account my neck injury. I always feel confident in pushing myself without the risk of injury because my Fit Coach is with me throughout the workout monitoring my form and ensuring I am isolating targeted muscles. She also makes sure I work up a healthy sweat and keep my heart rate in my target zone.
Fitbella also fits into my busy schedule. I can go anytime between 9:00am – 6:00pm, I have committed to working out 3 times a week. If I ever need to cancel or reschedule it’s never a problem. My Fit Coach always makes time for me and my workouts. I love that Fitbella is designed just for women. The atmosphere is so relaxing and supportive, unlike the constant buzz and crowd at my old gym. I can work out, steam, shower and be on my way in 60 minutes, leaving with a feeling of accomplishment and energy.
My primary goal in joining Fitbella was to find a workout that would maintain my muscle mass as I age, be heart healthy, and not aggravate my neck injury. I have found my answer; physically I feel stronger and have more energy than I have had in years. I also decided to clean up my diet; I worked with my Fit Coach and developed a plan to eliminated gluten, sugar, dairy, caffeine, soy and all processed foods from my diet. I eat only organic fruits and vegetables, whole grains (non-gluten) and a small amount of good quality meats. By maintaining my workouts 3 times a week and eating healthier, I lost almost 15 lbs. without even trying.
No matter your fitness or nutritional goals the Fit Coaches will work individually with you to develop a plan to help you reach them. If you are like me, a middle aged woman who loves to workout but can’t continue strenuous exercise because of an injury, health issues or you just want to try something new, I suggest you give Fitbella a call. I did and it changed my life. I love Fitbella!
